A Terrifying Trifecta Debuts

BRYAN, TX - As 2020 ended, MIKE DELL declared he had a new vision. At Surrounded, things seemed a whole lot clearer…and scarier. With CADE CARSON and CHAVY CHULO, Dell ended the evening as the leader of a new faction, The Trifecta.

We knew Dell and Carson were aligned coming into the night, as Cade had teamed up with Mike at our event earlier this month. Surrounded would begin with Dell defeating THE MOUNTAIN. Though the big man mostly dominated, Carson’s interference ultimately would lead to a Dell victory. After the match, Chulo would run out to beat down The Mountain even further. Chavy offered his allegiance to Dell, but it was rejected.

Fast forward to the main event, as Carson and DRAKE DURDEN took their rivalry to another violent level in a last man standing match. Dell was ejected from ringside after he attacked Drake’s sidekick Mini Durden as the bell rang. Left to themselves, the former co-Lions Pride Sports Champions brutalized each other with their bodies and whatever they found around and under the ring. Ultimately, the near-seven-footer’s remarkable jump from a ladder through Cade on a table would keep Carson down for the ten-count, giving the win to the big man.

It seemed that moment would be the cap on the feud, but once more, Chulo would run down the aisle, this time to attack a battered Durden. Chulo again pleaded with Dell. Having seen the persistence and aggression in the wake of a defeat to close out Surrounded, Dell accepted Chavy into his vision.

What devastation will this trio cause in The Pride, including at our upcoming shows on February 12 and 27 back at The Lions Den Training Facility?

In other action at Surrounded:

  • NOBE BRYANT retained the Lions Pride Sports Championship in a hard-fought contest with the upstart MATHAYUS, but it was an outsider who played a major role in the outcome. As “The Headline” was lining up for a second spear to try and put the champ away, a video played showing a mysterious man dressed in western attire. The momentary distraction was enough for Nobe to avoid the eventual spear attempt, and a scissors kick to follow up scored the 1-2-3. After a show of respect from Bryant, the man from the video — apparently known as THE OUTLAW — came to the ring and smashed a cowbell to the side of the defeated challenger’s head. What are the motives of this newcomer?

  • Before the title match, BARRETT BROWN appeared on-screen in The Den and declared he was returning to The Pride at the February 27 show. But “The King of Texas” isn’t just coming for any match. Brown will fight for the Lions Pride Sports Championship.

  • RODNEY MACK scored his first win in Lions Pride Sports in an incredible tilt with WILL ALLDAY. The first ever match-up between the two lived up to expectations, and ultimately, the former WWE Superstar put the renowned high-flyer to sleep. With a statement victory on his record, what’s next in The Pride for the Redd Dogg?

  • The debut match of THE UNKNOWN came against KOOL DADDI DENZELL, who The Unknown had violently confronted at Winter Warfare II in December. The contest would end with the brooding big man being disqualified for not releasing an illegal hold before a five-count. Denzell’s new manager, “The Voice” LIEUTENANT DAN, issued a challenge for a rematch.

  • Despite distractions from ZANE VALERO, MIA FRIDAY scored yet another win, this one against the luchador CACHORRO DE LEON. On February 27, Mia is scheduled to match up for the first time against a fellow female competitor when Reality of Wrestling’s DANNI B debuts in The Pride.
