Drake Durden was out for revenge and the Lions Den Championship. A month earlier in his first shot at the title, Mathayus got help from manager Devon DeVille to retain, then brutally assaulted Durden's knee. Having spent time out of action recovering, the seven-footer looked once again to take "The God of Fire's" belt. What resulted included an unexpected, intense match.

In January, Mike Dell made Chavy Chulo the third member of The Trifecta. For most of 2021, Dell, Chulo and Cade Carson would dominate Lions Pride Sports with their fluid teamwork and underhanded tactics. But throughout the time of the Lions Den Championship Invitational Tournament, Dell would grow frustrated with Chulo, often irrationally. Chulo was kicked out of the group after losing in the tournament final. Two weeks later at Here to Stay, Chavy sought revenge, while Mike sought to end his former protege.

Early on in Clash at Caldwell 3, Mike Dell declared he wanted a shot at Drake Durden's Lions Pride Sports Championship. Dell and his proteges in The Trifecta proceeded to beat down the champ, but were stopped by Mathayus. A three-on-two tag match was booked for later in the night.

Thirty competitors, one mission: stay in the ring and earn a Lions Pride Sports 360 Title opportunity. The first Aggieland Rumble match was contested in Bryan, with a random draw determining the entry of the wrestlers. One-by-one, they came in, and 29 had to leave because they went over the top rope and both their feet hit the floor. The lone person to survive the eliminations earned a chance later that night to face Will Allday for the 360 belt.
