Thirty competitors from Lions Pride Sports and other Texas promotions hit The Pride's ring to take part in the third Aggieland Rumble match. Through rivalry clashes, individual efforts, and alliances formed and dissolved, one wrestler would outlast the others and earn the title shot of their choosing later that same night.

The Aggieland Rumble Match at January 7's Lions Pride Sports event will feature 30 competitors, but only one can enter last. Cannonball Carmichael, Drake Durden, The Mountain, Rodzilla and Zae Carter had the opportunity to earn that coveted spot in a battle royal at Lash Out.

As Warpath began, The Mountain was in the ring, the crowd expecting to dance along with the 600-pounder, when Kool Daddi Denzell and Rodzilla hit the ring and attacked. Drake Durden made the save, and a tag match was made between the two giants and The Bad Boys of Wrestling.
MATHAYUS VS. THE MOUNTAIN
Mathayus's transformation into the loathed "God of Fire," a change influenced by Devon DeVille, was completed in December in Navasota in a match against The Mountain. Five months later in the same venue, the two would collide once more. Would the 600-pounder exact revenge, or would Mathayus again score a victory?

At Fight to Unite, Kool Daddi Denzell and Rodzilla decided to make their presence felt by attacking The Mountain. Mathayus's reign as the very first Lions Den Champion began with the slaying of a pair of popular giants. Just two weeks removed from taking Drake Durden out of action, "The God of Fire" would once again defend his title against The Mountain, who sought revenge for the defeat he suffered at the close of 2021.

Twenty competitors would enter the ring over the course of the contest, with the last wrestler standing earning a championship match later in the night. At Lash Out, the Lions Den Championship was defended for the first time. The first champion, Mathayus, faced off with The Mountain in the 600-pounder's hometown of Navasota. While The Mountain had the support of the crowd, the champion seemed to have gotten some mysterious support ahead of the match.

At September's Reboot, two teen sensations from The Lions Den Training Facility debuted. Zane Valero lost his match, and Mia Friday won hers. A jealous Valero attacked Friday and her tag partner, The Mountain in the aftermath. November's Full Speed Ahead saw Zane and Mia compete against each other, with Valero disqualified for not following the referee's instructions. Zane's post-match attack on Mia was put to an end by The Mountain, who was named the special enforcer for Friday-Valero rematch at Winter Warfare II.

A pair of teen trainees of The Lions Den Professional Wrestling Training Facility made their debuts in separate matches at Reboot. Zane Valero, a Mumford High School senior, battled the impressive Chavy Chulo. Meanwhile, 14-year-old Bryan Collegiate High student Mia Friday was set for action when some persistent enemies made their presence known and forced a lineup change. In freeing himself from the mind control of The Dark Circus, The Mountain gained a joyous attitude. The problem for the big man was Stewy the Cannibal Clown and The Ringmaster had their sights set on tormenting and destroying him. At Leap Year and Chill in College Station, Lions Pride Sports permitted an unsanctioned match. Would The Mountain complete his break-away from the darkness, or would Stewy complete The Circus's mission?

WINNER EARNS 360 CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Thirty competitors, one mission: stay in the ring and earn a Lions Pride Sports 360 Title opportunity. The first Aggieland Rumble match was contested in Bryan, with a random draw determining the entry of the wrestlers. One-by-one, they came in, and 29 had to leave because they went over the top rope and both their feet hit the floor. The lone person to survive the eliminations earned a chance later that night to face Will Allday for the 360 belt.
