Bryant Wins, Lennox Fired

BRYAN, TX - NOBE BRYANT is still the Lions Pride Sports Champion, and at Winter Warfare II, he ended up successfully defending the title twice, including against the now-fired JORDAN LENNOX.

The show opened with “The Real Deal’s” scheduled defense against the legendary RODNEY MACK. The former WWE Superstar and Southern Wrestling Hall of Famer said he was coming to The Pride to win the top prize and take over the promotion. After a dominating stretch from Mack, Bryant’s comeback was intense. Mack decided it was best to end the bout on his terms and walked out, giving Bryant a count-out victory.

However, Lennox immediately emerged and blindsided the celebrating champion. With WILL ALLDAY unable to compete in the scheduled loser leaves The Pride ladder match due to injury, Jordan claimed he’d been intentionally excluded from the title picture and challenged Bryant to defend his belt. Bryant accepted, and the main event match was made with the ladder match and loser leaves stipulations added.

Competing for a second time, Bryant not only had to overcome a fresh Lennox and lots of metal, but also an interfering MIKE DELL, Lennox’s fellow member in The Brand, and a returning Mack. As he has so many times before, though, Nobe overcame seemingly insurmountable odds, eventually knocking Lennox off a ladder and into Dell, then climbing the rungs and retrieving the title. With Lennox’s loss, one of the original wrestlers in The Pride has been forced to exit.

Also at Winter Warfare II:

  • MATHAYUS is the new #1 contender for Bryant’s championship, defeating Dell in the rubber match of their three-contest series with a thunderous spear.

  • MIA FRIDAY'S big friend THE MOUNTAIN proved effective as special enforcer in the match between Friday and ZANE VALERO. When Gen-Z tried to use a chair, The Mountain denied him. Mia hit her Black Friday move and earned the win.

  • CHAVY CHULO got back to his winning ways, but not without interference from his manager OSO and feet on the ropes in notching a win over EDGE STONE. Oso was destroyed by a justifiably frustrated Stone following the match.

  • With DRAKE DURDEN unable to compete, CADE CARSON brought a smaller impersonator of the giant to the ring to make fun of Drake, then proceeded to assault the impersonator and security.

  • Channeling the spirit of Santa and giving out gifts, KOOL DADDI DENZELL’S long-awaited return to The Pride started happy. The mysterious UNKNOWN spoiled the fun and laid out Denzell.
