Carson Tops Durden in Street Fight
In a clash of the former co-champions of Lions Pride Sports, CADE CARSON outlasted DRAKE DURDEN in a brutal Aggieland Street Fight at Full Speed Ahead.
The duo whose partnership imploded at September’s Reboot event battled through the brand new Lions Den Training Facility. Carson’s athleticism and Durden’s power were on full display, but the match stipulation allowed them to brutalize each other with kendo sticks and steel chairs as well. In the end, it was brass knuckles on the fist of Carson finding the skull of the seven-footer that led to the 1-2-3.
After the match, Durden announced he wasn’t done seeking revenge for Carson ending their partnership. At December’s Lions Pride Sports event, he vowed to make Carson say “I quit.”
In other action at Full Speed Ahead:
NOBE BRYANT answered yet another open challenge from CHAVY CHULO and, when asked, agreed to put the Lions Pride Sports Championship on the line as well. As usual, OSO made his presence felt on behalf of Chulo, but a final interference didn’t pay off as the veteran champion Bryant broke loose from the grip of Oso, who was hit by a charging Chulo. A scissor kick shortly after sealed the first successful title defense of Bryant’s second reign as the title holder.
The tales of two matches ended up intertwined. First, The Brand’s JORDAN LENNOX with help from MIKE DELL cheated to top former Brand member WILL ALLDAY. After the match, Allday laid out an ultimate challenge: at December’s event, a loser leaves Lions Pride Sports stipulation will be in effect. Later in the night, Dell had assistance from Lennox in Dell’s match with MATHAYUS, but Allday emerged to neutralize it. A Mathayus spear gave “The Headliner” the victory in the rematch from Reboot.
In a Reality of Wrestling showcase, three-time ROW Champion GINO MEDINA’s lucha offense was just enough to get past the powerhouse EDGE STONE in Medina’s Pride debut. Gino won with a roll-up.
A competitive High School Grudge Match between Lions Den teen trainees ZANE VALERO and MIA FRIDAY saw Valero disqualified for not obeying and then shoving the official. Zane targeted Mia’s ankle and looked to snap it with a steel chair when Friday’s friend THE MOUNTAIN saved her. Lions Pride Sports Owner HOUSTON CARSON announced a rematch for December 19’s event, with The Mountain serving as a ringside enforcer.
