Lions Den Champion DRE HENDRIXX, fresh off his first successful defense of that title, is also expected to be on hand for Fight to Unite 5. At the previous year’s event, he won the first Fight to Unite Championship, a victory that started a momentum wave that he rode to Lions Den gold.

TIMUR, MERCER WIN BIG AT THE RUMBLE

BRYAN, TX - The title picture in Lions Pride Sports has shifted once again, as two competitors who came up big at the 2026 Aggieland Rumble event are now on a collision course.

TIMUR THE GREAT once again has control of the biggest prize in The Pride. The third time was the charm against Lions Pride Sports Champion HASTUR, who had held off “The Wrath of The 8th Day” in previous matches. In their latest fight, there were no disqualifications, opening the door not only for plenty of high impact and weapons, but also interference from The 8th Day’s FATHER ODAY, which ultimately helped propel Timur to the gold. The win begins Timur’s second reign with the title and ends Hastur’s time at the top at 226 days.

After the match, another two-time champ, NOBE BRYANT, entered the ring and gave Hastur a pep talk. Shockingly, “The Real Deal” then attacked the former title holder, leaving “The King in Yellow” lying. Bryant declared he would win the annual Aggieland Rumble match and earn a future title shot.

However, it was TRENT MERCER who was able to survive multiple hostile takeovers in the night’s main event and emerge victorious. Twenty-five of Texas’s best collided in the elimination bout. A motivated Mercer took out all three members of the new-look Obsidian, his long-time group that dismissed him at the end of 2025. In another huge moment, despite not being in the match, Hastur hit the ring to exact revenge and eliminated Bryant, who had drawn the match’s final entry.

Ultimately, after a chaotic and dramatic contest that could have gone any number of ways, the final two were Mercer and Oday. Faced with the possibility of The 8th Day holding one title and being able to challenge for the other, the crowd firmly put its support behind “The Alpha of Lions Pride Sports.” Mercer met the moment, kicking Oday to the floor and scoring the win. He quickly chose to face Timur the Great at our upcoming Fight to Unite event for the Lions Pride Sports Championship.

Lions Den Champion DRE HENDRIXX was victorious in the night’s opening contest. A hard-hitting bout saw the popular champ retain in his first defense against a game ROCCO MONTANA.
