Cade Carson Tops Houston in Epic Encounter Thanks to Monster Insurance Policy
HOUSTON CARSON returned to the ring for one final match looking to shut up his brash, brazen cousin CADE CARSON. In the end, a towering new force in Lions Pride Sports helped Cade speak loudest.
Having gained medical clearance for his first match in two-and-a-half years and what he says will be his last match, “The Texas Lion” Houston made the no disqualification match with his loud mouth Lions Den Training Facility student and younger cousin. Cade’s verbal assaults against Houston were forced to be backed up by in-ring competition.
The two battled around Smitty K’s in College Station at the Here to Stay second anniversary show. It was an evenly matched affair between veteran teacher and rookie former student, but eventually, a near-seven-foot behemoth who has now been identified as DRAKE DURDEN entered the ring, assaulted the referee and put his boot through Houston’s head. Cade had seemingly sought the services of the giant, whose continued interference thwarted Houston’s comebacks. Cade would score the pin fall after a pair of vicious super kicks.
As impressive as he was cocky and angry, Cade Carson now appears to have a big back-up in his quest to rise in the professional wrestling ranks. He also has a win over a Texas wrestling legend in his final match. Houston now returns to running Lions Pride Sports and The Lions Den with one last legendary outing to his name, albeit a loss.
