For more than a year-and-a-half, Shimbashi and MJ Santana were the Power Couple of Lions Pride Sports. But as Shimbashi's ambitions grew, so did his selfishness. Soon, he found new allies in Devon DeVille, Mathayus and Prince Ly. In this new force known as Pandemonium, there would be no room for Santana, a fact Shimbashi made painfully clear when he superkicked MJ, ending their long relationship. After a brief hiatus, Santana returned, immediately aiming to get even with Shimbashi and, in the process, take away what mattered most to him: a shot at the Lions Pride Sports Championship.

Shimbashi attempted to eliminate MJ Santana from the Aggieland Rumble match in January, but ultimately, MJ tossed her boyfriend from the ring to win that contest. The duo looked to get back on the same page against a burgeoning friendship, the uber popular Zane Valero and Security Guy.

At 18 & Up, "Outlaw" J. Austin, Mia Friday and MJ Santana took part in a gauntlet match for the Lions Pride Sports Championship. The trio and Santana's boyfriend, Lions Den Champion Shimbashi, ended up distracting each other in the respective opportunities, ultimately leading to none becoming champion. At Haunting in Downtown, the three would face off for the right to compete for the biggest prize in The Pride at our fifth anniversary show.

Ever since MJ Santana took a camera to the side of Mia Friday's head in October, the two Lions Den products have been out to outdo each other in the ring. The intensity has continued to ratchet up, and at Lash Out in Navasota, it reached a new level as the two competed in the first women's street fight in Lions Pride Sports history.

Having served as a ringside videographer for months, Lions Den trainee MJ Santana announced her arrival to The Pride with a sneak attack. As Mia Friday faced Cachorro de Leon in intergender action two weeks earlier, Santana hit Friday with a camera. The masked luchador then revealed himself to be Shimbashi, who is dating MJ. Santana says she's better than Mia in every way. Would MJ win her debut, or would Friday silence this new competitor?
